History and Outline

In 1990, the construction of this complex was designated as a leading project (making a healthy community) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. A hot spring welled up in 1996. Toyama Prefecture International Health Complex was opened in July 1999 as a base for making the citizens of Toyama Prefecture. This complex consists of 3 facilities; The International and Traditional Medical Center, Life Science Hall, and Health Stadium. It is also known informally as “Toyama Health Park”.

Open experiments / Easy experiments concerned with life and health opens some 20 times a year
Planning exhibitions/Exhibitions to be more concerned about making good health and opens on the summer vacation, the winter vacation and the spring vacation

Collection and Exhibition

Exhibition based on the participant’s experience, so that you can learn about the importance of having good health and a healthy lifestyle with its theme “good health harmonized comprehensively with life and living”.
Exhibits “Gokingi-kakejiku” (a hanging picture from China), “Shibu-iten Tanka” (a medical dictionary from Tibet), “Tibet Mandala” (from Tibet), “Lontar Usada” (from Indonesia), etc.
