History and Outline

Opened in Asahi Town located east of Toyama and blessed with mountains ranging 3,000m high, and the beautiful Sea of Japan. The basic duties of this museum are confirming and developing the local folk art by collecting, keeping and spreading materials including the work of local artists. Furthermore, the museum aims to perform its part as the base for new culture in the future.
