History and Outline

Opened in April 1994. Kurobe Art Museum commands a splendid view of Tateyama-Range and has become a place of relaxation for visitors. This museum, whose motto is “Be an approachable museum”, is a place to introduce local artists and a base of local culture creation with the riches of nature.

Planning exhibition (4-6 times a year)

Collection and Exhibition

Collects works of local artists and houses works which follows Japanese contemporary print. Opens 4-6 exhibitions a year around a core of planning exhibition. Collects and exhibits works from a nationwide and local point of perspective.
