History and Outline

Founded in 1976 as “the open space to cultivate cosmopolitan outlook and creative power of children” and “the general institution to make society react to be aware of and appreciate children’s art”. This museum carries out various activities of the project delegating children among 13 countries for international exchange, which contributes to social education. Also provides elderly people and handicapped people with a place for artistic lifelong learning.

Lecture project・・・・Children’s art school, oil painting class for adults and etc.

Holds exhibitions and seminars at Ohtani Museum of Children’s Art, Ohtani Art Exchange Center and any other places in Japan.
