Toyama Outdoor Nature Museum “Nei no sato”
History and Outline
Opened in June 1981. This museum is located in the prefectural park abounds in the riches of nature as one of the commemorative works of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Toyama Prefecture. There are a 13ha field and a 726.54㎡ exhibition center to commune with nature and learn from it. The field has a 2km observation path and the exhibition center displays specimens of wild birds, animals and insects, and also has audio and visual equipment to learn about the specimens.
Project
At the exhibition hall, opens permanent exhibition and seasonable exhibitions. Also opens monthly nature study meeting, special events, exhibition of posters, and photographic exhibitions throughout the year.Collection and Exhibition

Take the Fuchu community bus (Furusato/Otogawa reverse route) from JR Chisato Station on the JR Takayama Line, get off at Ikoi-no-mura bus stop, and walk 10 minutes.
