History and Outline
Toyama Kenminkaikan was opened in August 1964 as a compound cultural facility which has halls, art museum, exhibition rooms, gallery and meeting rooms. This art museum contributes to the spread and improvement of art culture of the citizens of Toyama as a place to introduce excellent art works of those inside and outside of Toyama.
Project
Planning exhibition (2 times a year), rent a hall for exhibition (50 exhibitions a year), lecture, special show for group, support a meeting group for the lovers of art, Toyama Kenminkaikan Bunkatomonokai (culture fellowship)Collection and Exhibition
Opens planning exhibitions to introduce excellent works of in and out of Toyama and works by local artists and other artists who are connected with Toyama and uses as a place to present creative works such as solo and group exhibition.
