History and Outline
The Municipal Hall for Education, Toyama is an educational facility founded in 1977 in memory of the 100th anniversary of the start of the modern educational system by fund raising from teachers inside and outside of Toyama Prefecture and subsidy by the prefecture.
This hall aims to stimulate self-awareness of person who engages in the education of Toyama, make efforts to promote education and become a base of development for the future of education of Toyama. Its fundamental principle is to function as an educational museum, a general office for a miscellaneous school and the educational parties, and a public-service corporation which does original educational works.
