History and Outline
The Tateyama-machi Center for Archaeological Operations not only organizes and stores archaeological findings but also serves as a facility to communicate widely knowledge about the town’s history and cultural assets.
The permanent exhibition space on the first floor displays major relics, models, drawings, and excavated cultural assets so that the visitor can understand the history of Tateyama Town from primitive times to the present.
