History and Outline
Opened in September 1994. This art gallery was the former Aoi Memorial Hall, which was presented by the late Aoi Tadaharu in 1963. It was moved and built in the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Takaoka Kogei High School (1994) out of necessity of a project to widen a street.
Project
Collection and Exhibition
Displays art and craft works according to the theme that this school has been collected since the school started. Holds “Aoi-chubi-ten” invites art entries from the junior high schools in Toyama Prefecture, excellent works exhibition by the graduates and “the schoolmates gallery” introduces the schoolmates what they do.
