History and Outline
Opened in July 1969. This museum was established as a museum where collecting folk materials of this area and displaying utensils cultivated in this area when Ainokura “Gassho-zukuri” house community was designated as a historic spot of Japan. There are No.1 and No.2 museum using “Gassho-zukuri” style houses with a thatched roof.
